The lathe wil come with the Bowl Turning Attachment which allows the head stock to be rotated 90 degrees and a tool rest to be mounted on an outrigger so large diameter bowls and platters can be turned.
There is no chuck but the lathe does come with a faceplate and drive and live centres
The headstock is 2MT and has an M33 thread

Kim lives in Watlington. The lathe was her husband’s.
I don’t think he was ever a member of Didcot Woodturners.
While quite an old lathe, Myford lathes were well built and much loved by those who used them. They were also used extensively in schools.
The ML8A version comes with a bowl turning extension on the rear side of the head stock with an articulated banjo which allowed larger bowls to be turned. This lathe also comes with the full sized metal cabinet and appears to be in good condition.
Axminster Full Size Lathe. Price £150
Floor standing full size, variable speed lathe. Variable speed at fixed intervals using the lever on the front of the lathe.
Looks to be equivalent to the Axminster AVSL900 lathe, probably 1" by 12TPI and 2MT spindle thread.
